Typically the lip of the trailer deck on tilt trailers, or the transition from the door on an enclosed trailer is a relatively large step that can be difficult to navigate when loading your machine. The last thing you want to deal with is the hassle of having the ski hang on the lip of the ramp when loading, especially if the parking lot is icy and traction is difficult to find.

With Edge Glides installed, you'll get a smooth transition that flips down into place making it painless to simply load your bike and be ready to secure it in place.

Installation Notes

Installation is incredibly easy, and although Edge Glides are delivered in 24" sections, they can be easily cut down in 3 inches lengths (there are even dividing lines molded into the part to make it even easier) with standard woodworking tools. That makes it incredibly easy to get a nearly custom fit now mater what width you need.

When it comes to installation, you have a couple of options for how to setup your Edge Glide:

1. Definitely the most pro looking setup is going to be running Edge Glides across the entire lip of the trailer/ramp. This gives you maximum flexibility for where you load your bike, but will be more expensive as you need more sections.
2. For a more economical approach, install a single section just where your ski is going to run up onto your trailer when you load in your standard position. This will do the job just fine in nearly all cases, it just won't have the same finished look.
